Ever wonder why the trails get a little beat up? On this day our counters counted over 600 snowmobiles to the east side and the counter to the west broke down. This should shed a little light on usage. Figure every trailer has at least 2 sleds with a minimum lug height of 2". I hope who ever took this picture doesn't mind if I poach it Thanks

This summer we didn't limb any trails, we took a summer off. Next summer we have approximately 6 miles to complete. 9/15/23 There is a new Facebook group called Kings Hill Snowmobile Riding Buddies. They are dedicated to never having someone riding alone. Please join their group and access their Face Book here. 9/15/23 Our grant for the out house at the warming hut location was rejected for this year. We plan to reapply next spring. It was an expenditure thing by the state and we had no control of the outcome. Thanks to everyone who supported the project. 11/10/22 Last night at the club meeting we received a hand out from our MSA rep Cliff Walters. It's an informative piece as to what the Montana Snowmobile Association does for us as club members and snowmobilers as a whole. For the complete article click the link here. 10/18/23 We've had our first general meeting and set the season's events calendar. Watch our calendar for up dates and times. 10/21/23 This is an article from a few years back but still worth a read. For the complete article, follow the link here 12/14/23 I hate to say it, but I think we are going to need a little more snow. 1/10/24 This is a special thank you to the GFSC for their generous donations of $ 250.00 each to Trans Montana charity ride and the local Angels in Camo organization. |

12/13/23
We had the annual Christmas party and what a great turn-out. Everything went off without any issues and our new President, Liz, was a natural and adapted perfectly to the job. Onward and upward from here. 1/10/24 The club ride and the Hank Raaum chili feed have been moved to January 20. We'll meet at the parking lit at 9:00 AM ready to ride. the Chili feed will be from 11:00 to 2:00 PM at the Groom Haus on Kings Hill summit. Stop by and have a hot lunch on the club. These events are for everyone so don't be bashful. Club membership is encouraged. 1/20/24 Tomorrow is the day, Hank Raaum chili feed and the club ride. This is open to everyone so plan to attend. Club and MSA membership is encouraged. 1/28/24 The Hank Raaum chili feed and club ride were a great success this year. Even though the snow was limited, the ride was well attended, we tore up all the powder in Island Park and points in between. 2/28/24 Next up is the 3 Club cookout at Ant Park on March 3. 11:00 to 2:00 PM as always we look forward to seeing everyone, always a good time. We are almost there, setup on Saturday main event on Sunday. If you feel like helping out, Saturday, meet at the Deadman's pullout at 9:00 - 9:30 and we'll run in and do some chores. We'll have to gather some fire wood for a camp fire and do a little cabin clean-up and anything else we feel like. Bring a lunch if you want. |
