Ever wonder why the trails get a little beat up? On this day our counters counted over 600 snowmobiles to the east side and the counter to the west broke down. This should shed a little light on usage. Figure every trailer has at least 2 sleds with a minimum lug height of 2". I hope who ever took this picture doesn't mind if I poach it Thanks

This summer's liming operations are nearly complete with the last six miles of our six year project coming to an end. This year we widened the G trail and sections of the A trail across ridge road as well as the trail headed towards Baldy. Enjoy the widened safer trails and if you should encounter our groomer stop and thank him for the job he does it's all for you, the riders. 9/15/23 There is a new Facebook group called Kings Hill Snowmobile Riding Buddies. They are dedicated to never having someone riding alone. Please join their group and access their Face Book here. 10/21/23 This is an article from a few years back but still worth a read. For the complete article, follow the link here 10/17/24 Mark your calendars, Avalanche awareness seminar. Sponsored by Ski-Doo and Paulsen's Power Sports. 7/20/24 Parking lot clean up was a great success with about 20 volunteers, a good lunch and ride after. We should do this one again next year 8/7/24 The new SST has been planted and the Safety shelter is nearing completion. Thank you to all who have worked on the project thus far. We are building a great asset for winters to come. 10/4/24 Success, the warming hut is on site in the Little Belt mountains and set up for the winter. The doors are locked and will be opened with the gates on December second. Once again this first season is a learning curve and modifications will most likely be required. We think we have covered all the bases for right now. 10/19/24 We made a trip in and made some modifications to the out house and did a trial run on the wood stove in the shelter. The stove works extremely well and heats with very little wood. It's going to be good. |
